Quickstart: your first review in 60 seconds
- Sign in and click New project.
- Pick the project type: Website, Image, PDF, or Video.
- Paste a URL or drag in a file. VisualPin creates a canvas.
- Click Share and copy the guest link.
- Send the link in Slack/email. Reviewers drop pins. You get notified.
For agencies: running a structured client review
The most successful agencies on VisualPin follow a four-stage cadence: preview, gather, triage, ship.
Preview (Day 1)
Send the link with a 90-second Loom explaining what you'd love feedback on and what's still in progress. Reviewers leave better feedback when they know what's "done."
Gather (Days 2–3)
Give clients a 48-hour window to drop pins. Less time = scattered feedback; more time = scope creep.
Triage (Day 4)
Filter by section, mark duplicates as resolved, and use AI rewrite to turn vague pins into spec.
Ship (Day 5+)
Push remaining pins to GitHub/Linear, close them as you go, and re-share the link when you're ready for round two.
For product teams: bug triage with VisualPin
Drop a pin on any reproducible bug, attach the console log (auto-captured on Business+), and route to your engineering channel. VisualPin's device tags help separate "iOS Safari only" from "all browsers."
AI feedback coach: when to use which tone
- Client tone — for forwarding rewritten feedback back to clients (kinder, less jargon).
- Designer tone — for handoff to the design team (uses design-system vocabulary).
- Developer tone — for tickets (includes selectors, viewport, and reproduction steps).
Live website tips
- Use the production URL, not staging — production is what your clients care about.
- Switch device modes (desktop / tablet / mobile) before pinning, so context is captured.
- Group multi-page sites in one project; switch pages from the sidebar dropdown.
